Sri Lanka Cricket to appoint Michael Main as new trainer
May 07, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka Cricket is to appoint Michael Main as its new trainer of the national team from 01 June 2015, SLC said in a statement.
Michael was the head of strength and conditioning at Hampshire county cricket team under the England and Wales Cricket Board before joining Sri Lanka Cricket.
He had also worked with Coventry Football Club and Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
Michael holds a masters degree in strength and conditioning from the University of Teeside, England while completing his bachelor's degree from University of Worcester in Sports Studies and Physical Education.
Main had also worked with the England and Wales Cricket Board in their young fast bowlers training programme.
