Over 50,000 visitors and 8,000 students are expected to visit this year’s INFOTEL while there will be more than 200 stalls, a statement said.
The ICT Expo includes enterprise software vendors and trainers, vendors of cloud based services, virtualization, business systems, office automation and telecommunications.
INFOTEL 2011 is expected is to be one of the largest ICT/BPO career fairs too.
"Today, IT has become a core factor in any type of growth industry which can range from a very small business enterprise to that of a top corporate," said Wasantha Weerakoon, president of FITIS Hardware Chapter and Chairman INFOTEL 2011."We are hoping to position this year’s INFOTEL exhibition as a regional show, where we can position Sri Lankan products to the outside world."
